Hey, what’s going on, guys?! We have another flex Friday tonight! I will have 6 plays for you guys. To recap, we went 2-2 yesterday. Davis and Jokic went over their props. While Lebron comes up short and Schroder can’t get to the line at least once. We move on to try and win $480 today, or we get our money back. If you’re new to prizepicks, use my code PR-I63B0EM, and they will match your first deposit up to $100. I think Boston will even out the series tonight. What do you guys think? Anyway, let’s get to the plays!
1. Kyle Lowry OVER 24 Fantasy Points
I thought prizepicks would have this at 25.5 after his latest performances. I’m taking this again as Lowry comes in off the bench and consistently shows up offensively for Miami. Wednesday, he was on fire from the field. He can also come in and be a big-time playmaker if not hitting his shots. Miami can count on this savvy veteran to be a huge spark off the bench for them. I’m going to continue to take this prop as long as Kyle is this low.
2. Caleb Martin OVER 13.5 PR
Martin used to be a starter before Miami acquired Kevin Love. He still plays close to 30 minutes, if not more consistently, every night. He has gone over this prop consistently in the playoffs. He can knock down the 3 or drive to the hoop for an easy lay in. You can also count on him to grab you at least 4 or 5 rebounds a game. He gives Butler a break on defense by guarding the opposing teams best player. This helps with his minutes and his abilities on offense. He plays with intensity each and every night.
3. Kevin Love OVER 5 Rebounds
Kevin Love is not the double double machine he used to be. He will usually play the first 8 or 9 minutes of each half. In game 1, he played 16 minutes and grabbed 6 boards. I think he can do this again for sure. Boston is not a great rebounding team. Love is still adept at rebounding the ball even at his age.
4. Jaylen Brown OVER 6 Rebounds
Brown had 9 rebounds in game 1. Both of these teams run small lineups with only 6’9″ centers. You will see guards go after the loose ball for rebounds. Even if Brown plays better on offense today, you will see him go after the boards. Brown is one of the better rebounding guards in the league. He averaged 8 rebounds a game in the regular season against Miami and 6.9 for the season, which is basically 7.
5. Derrick White OVER 1.5 3’s
I saw white camping around the 3 point line most of game 1. He did drive to the basket a few times, but he went 3 of 5 from downtown. Miami does allow a lot of 3-point attempts with their zone defense. I’m counting on White to knock down at least 2 of them tonight!
6. Malcolm Brogdon OVER 29.5 Minutes
This is a prop I’ve never played, but I want to win that $500 tonight, haha. Brogdon played in 37 minutes for game 1. I don’t expect that high of a number, but I expect at least 30 again tonight. Boston only played 8 guys, and Brogdon was out there a lot. This is a great series for Brogdon with Miami’s small lineup. Brogdon was a starter for all of his career before coming to Boston, and he’s still only 30 years old. He will be fine to go another 30 minutes, especially in a must win game for Boston.
Best of luck! Let’s get this money tonight! I’m sad and disappointed about the Lakers last night. They have to play hard in game 3, for sure. Anyways, see you all for more plays tomorrow!
